MONDAY, JULY 22, 2013 | WELCOME TO DUBLIN!

Arrive in Dublin, Ireland! Check into Trinity College Rooms. Meet your roommates and World Choral Fest team leaders. Welcome reception and get together. Rehearsal meet with the directors this evening


TUESDAY, JULY 23, 2013 | DAY 2

Let’s get started!  We will meet the directors Tracy Resseguie and Bernie Sherlock this morning after breakfast for rehearsal get right to work. Break for lunch and a guided tour of Trinity College Campus. Rehearsal This afternoon. Our evening outing will be a guided Dublin Literary and Historical tour of Dublin’s famous and infamous locales.

 

 

 


WEDNESDAY, JULY 24, 2013 | DAY 3

Singing and Exploring Dublin City. Our rehearsal day begins after breakfast. Break for lunch followed by rehearsal for the afternoon. You are free this evening to have dinner on your own and explore the area close to Trinity College that includes Grafton Street, Temple Bar and Stephen’s Green.

 

 

 


THURSDAY, JULY 25, 2013 | DAY 4

St. Patrick’s Cathedral Performance!  Rehearsal begins after breakfast followed by a lunch break. After lunch, we’ll gather at the beautiful St. Patrick’s Cathedral for our first performance. The concert begins at 1:00PM. Choir will depart for the Wicklow Mountains and visit several famous film locations as well as Avoca and the beautiful Glendalough (the Valley of Two Lakes). Our outing ends with a tour of St. Kevin’s Bed and the 6th Century Round Tower. Return to Dublin for dinner. Rehearsal after dinner.

 

 

 


FRIDAY, JULY 26, 2013 | DAY 5

Christ Church Performance!. Rehearsal begins after breakfast followed by a lunch break. After lunch, we will meet at the magnificent Christ’s Church Cathedral where we will perform our second concert. The concert begins at 1:00PM. Evening is free for dinner and exploring Dublin City.

 

 

 


SATURDAY, JULY 27, 2013 | DAY 6

Get out of Kilmainhan Jail Free! Our rehearsal day begins after breakfast followed by a break for lunch. During the long lunch break, those who would like can attend an optional tour of Kilmainham Jail or take in a recommended cultural experience at Kilmainham. Rehearsal resumes in the afternoon. Evening free to relax and explore.

 

 

 


SUNDAY, JULY 28, 2013 | DAY 7

Performance at National Concert Hall Dress rehearsal begins at 10:00AM for the finale concert in Dublin’s historic National Concert Hall. Break for lunch. Meet again this afternoon for a short rehearsal. Call time for the performance will be 6:00PM and the concert begins at 8:00PM. After the concert, we’ll have a finale concert celebration. Family and friends are welcome to attend!

 

 

 


MONDAY, JULY 29, 2013 | DAY 8

Rest and Relaxation. International participants will have a full day in Dublin to relax after a thrilling week of concerts to enjoy exploring the places missed in the previous days. Take time to visit galleries and do some shopping on Grafton Street. See Ireland’s ancient gold treasures at the National Museum or visit the Dublin Writers Museum. Take time with family and friends to explore Temple Bar, Dublin’s Left Bank and perhaps visit Dublin Castle. Enjoy a final night out in Dublin with family and friends.

 

 

 


TUESDAY, JULY 30, 2013 | DAY 9

Time to say goodbye and go home.  Time to say goodbye to Dublin and Ireland! All good things must come to an end. After breakfast we will transfer to Dublin Airport for our return flight home. Until the next time, Slan abhaile!
